Take your patches off before you clean your pack. Brush the backing now and then to keep it free of lint. If a patch needs a wash, hand wash it gently and let it air dry flat before you put it back on. Skip the washing machine for the patches themselves, since the machine packs the backing with lint and can wear it down. Stored flat, your patches will keep their color and shape for years.

Remove your patches first. Spot clean the pack with a damp cloth and a little mild soap, then let it air dry. Avoid bleach, high heat, and the dryer, which can wear down the fabric and the Loop Panels.

Yes. People use theirs as a carry-on and for everyday travel all the time. It is light, comfortable, and easy to move with.

Almost always, this is lint. Over time the backing on a patch and the loop fabric on your pack pick up fuzz, hair, and dust, and that weakens the grip. Here is the fix:

1. Take the patch off.

2. Use a fine tooth comb or a stiff brush to gently clear the backing of the patch.

3. Do the same across the Loop Panel.

4. If either side got damp, let it dry fully.

5. Press the patch back on. The grip should return.

First, check with anyone at your address and look around porches, mailboxes, and side doors, since carriers sometimes mark a package delivered a little early. If it still has not turned up after a day, contact us and we will help you track it down.

They bring a patch that has no hook-and-loop backing into the HEDi-PACK system, so it can be attached, moved and swapped like any other HEDi patch. They are sold individually and in 5-packs.

For a manufacturing defect, email photos to customerservice@hedigear.com within 7 days of delivery. We review within 24 hours and send a full replacement at no charge or a credit toward your next order, and we cover return shipping. No restocking fee on defects. For a change-of-mind return, request authorization within 14 days of delivery. A 25 percent restocking fee applies, and your business covers both the original outbound shipping and the return shipping. Approved refunds are processed within 7 business days of inspection. Custom patches and personalized name tapes are final sale. If a shipment arrives damaged in transit, contact us within 48 hours with photos and we will file the carrier claim and replace at no cost.

Once we receive and inspect your return, your refund is issued within 3 to 5 business days. It covers the price of the item and any tax, but not the original shipping charge. Your bank may take a few more days to post it.
