The Summit is the most finished thing HEDi makes. A moulded back panel that holds its shape. A fleece-lined pocket so a laptop never touches bare nylon. MOLLE loops down both sides and a name tape position on the front. It is built for a pack that will be added to for years, not decorated once and forgotten.

What is the difference between the HEDi-PACK Summit and the Explorer?

The HEDi-PACK Summit holds 23 litres and the Explorer holds 34 litres. The Summit is the more finished pack: it adds a fleece-lined laptop pocket, a moulded back panel, MOLLE loops on both side panels and a name tape position on the front. The Explorer is larger and simpler, and costs less.

How big is the HEDi-PACK Summit?

The HEDi-PACK Summit holds 23 litres and measures 18.1 by 12.2 by 6.3 inches (46 by 31 by 16 cm). It fits a laptop, a day of gear, and a water bottle without becoming a travel-sized pack.

Can you put a custom name on a HEDi-PACK Summit?

Yes. The Summit has a dedicated name tape position on the upper front pocket, with MOLLE loops on the left and right sides. HEDi sells custom name tapes that attach there, which is what most team and tournament orders use.

What are the MOLLE loops on the Summit for?

The MOLLE loops on the Summit's left and right side panels let you attach webbing-compatible accessories, name tapes, and gear such as carabiners and pouches directly to the outside of the pack.

Does the HEDi-PACK Summit come with patches?

The Summit is sold as a backpack on its own. HEDi patches are bought separately so you choose the ones that mean something, and every hook-and-loop HEDi patch fits the Summit's loop panels without sewing or ironing.

The pack arrives blank. That is the point. What goes on it is the part only you can write.

Shipments usually take up to 3-7 business days to arrive to any destination in the lower 48 USA States (Hawaii, Alaska, and Canada could take longer). Please note that we do not ship on the weekends, so any order placed on Friday will be shipped no earlier than the following Tuesday.
